I have always loved the idea of an eat-in kitchen; they are cosy and inviting. In most households, the kitchen is the heart of the home, the gathering place of family and friends, so creating an eat-in kitchen makes sense. A dining space in the kitchen really helps to make it feel like a multi-functional space, it can be used for socialising, dining and studying and the cook of the house will never be lonely!
Frequently used in homes in England where warmth is created by cooking appliances during the cold winters (e.g. that baked dinner in the oven!) and limited living space is commonplace, demonstrates that it doesn’t have to be a big space to create an eat-in kitchen. Even the smallest kitchens often have room for a small table and chairs. Take a look at these inviting eat-in kitchens and cute kitchen nooks.
